Sufi Festival

Katyayani’s ‘O’, a dance theatre production
Presented by ICCR, the performance is about two saint poets, Rabia of Basra and Karaikkal Ammaiyar of Tamil Nadu, and their struggles against patriarchal structures. Opposite in nature, the two battled similar obstacles while they strived to attain their spiritual goals.
