Customised poll propaganda van ready for DMK chief Karunanidhi

A ‘Force’ traveller type of van, the van is complete with public address system, flash lights and has facility for the occupant to move in a wheel-chair.

A customised van, to be used by DMK chief Karunanidhi, for use in election propaganda arrived in Chennai on Wednesday at party headquarters.

A ‘Force’ traveller type of van, it is complete with public address system, flash lights and has facility for the occupant to move in a wheel-chair.

Customised by a private vehicle fabrication firm based in Coimbatore, it also has amenities for taking rest in the vehicle like a caravan class van.

DMK treasurer and Karunanidhi’s son, M K Stalin, inspected it along with senior party colleagues.

The 92-year-old Karunanidhi is expected to kickstart his election campaign after seat sharing is completed with allies and following finalisation of candidates by his party and other electoral partners.
