Some of the ministers in the cabinet were of view that with change of regime at the center, one can expect drastic changes in terms of fund allocations for various departments.

One of the minister said that if possible, state government should wait and hold its budget session after the center's budget session. One of the minister said that the Narendra Modi government is expected to come up with some surprise items in the union budget.

However, some senior ministers said that the notification for the budget session had already been issued and now it is too late to discuss this issue.
