Apprehension expressed by the father of Nishant Zope, a 10-year-old missing boy in Bhopal, about his son’s abduction appears to be true after one of his friends said he had seen Zope with a bearded young man outside his school on the day he went missing.
Zope’s father Deepak Zope said that not only Nishant’s friend had seen him with a youth in front of the school, but others also noticed the boy with the person.
Meanwhile, police maintained that the boy who said he had seen Nishant with a youth, got confused and failed to give more details so as to enable them make a sketch of the suspect.
“A Class 6 boy, who was in a school bus, spotted Nishant with a young man of maybe 25-30 years age in front of the school on the day he went missing. The boy said Nishant was with a man who was wearing a cap and goggles but couldn’t describe his features properly as the bus was moving. The boy also waved his hand towards Nishant and he replied to it too,” said Deepak.
Meanwhile, Zope’s family is doing everything possible from prayers, rituals, seeking advice of astrologers, giving his handprints to forensic experts to rushing any place from where they hope to get back their beloved child whom they lost exactly a week ago.
Deepak said that the police have assured them that they would find the child by Friday. The aggrieved family was hoping that Nishant may return home by Friday evening.
9-year-old kidnapped from Sagar
A nine-year-old boy, Pankaj Kurmi, was allegedly kidnapped from Garhakota town in Sagar district on Thursday evening. According to parents of boy, kidnappers have demanded Rs 4 lakh ransom.
An FIR in the case has been lodged with Garhakota police. Town inspector Garhakota RN Tiwari said police were trying to trace the location of the kidnapper.
