Congress members in the Madhya Pradesh assembly on Thursday protested against a remark made by the Parliamentary Affairs Minister Narottam Mishra allegedly against Congress General Secretary Digvijay Singh.
They also shouted slogans in the Well of the House which led the Speaker Ishwar Das Rohani to adjourn the house for 10 minutes.
The Parliamentary Affairs Minister wanted to give information about a decision of an Indore court on Thursday when he referred to Digvijay Singh and made some remark.
The Speaker expunged the remark made by Mishra but by that time Congress members had reached the well of the house and had begun shouting slogans.
Later, Rohani said there can be no discussion on the issue as he had already expunged Mishra's remark but Congress members continued to shout slogans even after being told to take their seats which led to the adjournment.
