Congress General Secretary Rahul Gandhi said in Bhopal on Wednesday that arrangements made for state guests usually cause inconvenience to the common man and it did not matter much to him whether the Madhya Pradesh government declared him a state guest or not.

"Whether the State Government declares me to be a state guest or I come here as a common man does not bother me at all," the Congress General Secretary told reporters here.

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister, Shivraj Singh Chouhan had announced two days before Rahul's arrival that he would be treated as a state guest.

"Lots of arrangements are made for state guests and these may cause inconvenience to the common man," the Gandhi scion said.

While making arrangements, care must be taken to ensure that the common man is not forced to undergo any problem, Rahul added.
