The minister of health Mahendra Hardia said this while replying to Bisahulal Singh during the question hour conceded to the demand of the MLA on Tuesday.

Saying that an amount of Rs 2.03 crore from NRHM funds was paid to various NGOs, Bisahulal Singh sought to know the works executed by these organisations and also the name of the owners.

In reply, the minister said information pertaining to the payments made to the NGOs was being collected.

At this, Bisahulal Singh informed the house that Omprakash Dhurve, who is a prominent office-bearer of the Yuva Morcha, had told him that funds were paid to an NGO that is said to be run by his wife. Dhurve had also told the MLA that his wife does not have any NGO.

Later, MLA Singh and leader of Opposition Ajay Singh demanded that all allocations made under the NRHM scheme in tribal districts be enquired into.
