Apprehending threat from mob boss Dawood Ibrahim to Ajmal Kasab’s life, All India Anti-Terrorist Front chairman M S Bitta on Wednesday said adequate security cover should be provided to the lone terrorist arrested in the Mumbai attacks as he is an important link to the masterminds of 26/11.

“I demand from the government to keep Kasab in military custody as he faces threat to his life from Dawood,” Bitta told reporters in Bhopal.

“Kasab is a big proof for India to nail down Pakistan on the issue of terrorism. With his revelations India can put pressure on UN to declare Pakistan a terrorist state,” Bitta said.

He claimed that India missed a big opportunity to attack training camps operating in Pakistan soon after the Mumbai attacks.
