Town inspector KK Khaneja said, “We asked her whether she was changing her statement under pressure, the woman denied.” Khaneja said now the court will decide on the matter.

On Saturday, the woman had attempted suicide by consuming poison accusing Mishra of sexually exploiting her. The state government has ordered a high-level inquiry in the matter. A team headed by additional chief secretary Aruna Sharma visited Panna on Monday.
