Woman gives birth to quadruplets
After eight years of her marriage, a woman from Patadi village near Dewas district was blessed with healthy quadruplet– three females and one male–on Thursday.
After eight years of her marriage, a woman from Patadi village near Dewas district was blessed with healthy quadruplet– three females and one male–on Thursday.
According to a kin, the mother had undergone a treatment for infertility at some private clinic. Explained infertility expert Dr Asha Baxi, “This situation occurs in some cases when the patient is given ovulation induction agents to help conceive There are twins, triplets or quadruplets in such cases.”
To avoid any complications, the doctors at MYH made Pooja Rajesh (25) undergo caesarean section to deliver the quadruplets. Paediatrician Dr Pravin Chandrawanshi, who examined the babies at MYH said, “The babies are medically fit and stable.”
Despite all the financial constraints, the family has welcomed the babies. While talking to HT Sunder, mother of Rajesh, a daily wager said, “God has gifted the children, he would take care of them.”
