Bihar Assembly Election Result Updates: The counting of votes for the 243-member Bihar Legislative Assembly elections is almost complete. The counting of votes began from 8 am at 55 centres in 38 districts across the state. People had voted to elect their representatives for the six assembly seats of Bahadurganj, Thakurganj, Kishanganj, Kochadhaman, Amour, Baisi.

Bahadurganj assembly election 2020 result updates: @11:55pm--Mohammad Anzar Nayeemi of AIMIM is leading by a a margin of 43835 votes against Lakhan Lal Pandit of VIP.

Thakurganj assembly election 2020 result updates: @10:55 pm ---Saud Alam of RJD has won by 23887 votes against Gopal Kumar Agarwal, an independent candidate.In the Bihar Elections 2015, JDU’s Naushad Alam Tatpauwa had won the seat

Kishanganj assembly election 2020 result updates: @10:45 pm --Ijaharul Husain of Congress is leading against Sweety Singh of BJP by a margin of 2774 votes. Dr Muhammad Jawaid who was contesting from RJD in 2015-elections had won the seat.

Kochadhaman assembly election 2020 result updates: @10:45 pm --- Md Izhar Asfi of AIMIM has won against Mujahid Alam of JDU by a margin of 36143 votes.

Amour assembly election 2020 result updates: @10:55 pm-- Akhtarul Iman of AIMIM has won against Saba Zafar of JDU by a margin of 52515 votes. Abdul Jalil Mastan of RJD had won the seat in the year 2015.

Baisi assembly election 2020 result updates: @10:45 pm--- Syed Ruknnuddin Ahmad of AIMIM has won against Vinod Kumar of BJP with a margin of 16373 votes .

Bihar had conducted the Assembly election in three-phases on October 28, November 3 and 7. On one side is the ruling combine of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) and is led by chief minister Nitish Kumar of JD(U) who is seeking another term in this year’s election. It also includes Lok Janshakti Party, Vikassheel Insaan Party (VIP) and Jitan Ram Manjhi’s Hindustani Awam Morcha. On the other hand, there is a grand alliance which includes RJD, Congress and several other left parties.
