A different Sunny Leone: She now wants to play a supergirl

Sunny Leone says that a “supergirl” character is being designed for her home production

Over the past few years, superhero films have been setting the cash registers ringing at the box office. And now, Sunny Leone is set to play a ‘supergirl’ in her upcoming home production. The project is still in its development stage.

“We (she and husband, Daniel Weber) are creating a supergirl character. It’s still in the development stage. I believe in doing things a bit differently,” says Sunny.

B-Town’s ‘super’ brigade

The adult film star-turned-Bollywood actor says that they will see if they “can also create merchandise for the character, and build a comic book or comic series around it”. She adds, “We are developing the character, and a backstory as to why she has those certain weapons, what her basic traits are, and what are her superpowers. So, all of those things are being developed the way they would in the US. Maybe, it happens here, too, but I am not part of those productions.”
