A playlist of 10 memorable songs on Himesh Reshammiya’s birthday

Bollywood music director Himesh Reshammiya has turned 45 today. To celebrate the occasion, we have come up with a playlist of his best songs.

Himesh Reshammiya has been a game-changer for the Bollywood music industry in his own way. During the late ‘90s and early 2000s, he started a whole new trend of songs that focussed more on hook tunes than catchy lyrics.

Today is Himesh Reshammiya’s birthday.

He started his career as a television producer and gave some of the biggest hits in the history of show-theme songs. The opening credit songs of shows like Andaaz and Aha are still memorable.

Then, with Salman Khan’s help, he ventured into Bollywood with films like Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya, Bandhan, Hello Brother and Dulhan Hum Le Jayenge.

There was a time when every second hit song was composed by Himesh. Films like Aitraaz, Aashiq Banaya Aapne and Aksar were more in news for their songs than their star-cast.
