A Priyanka Chopra, Nick Jonas duet is very much possible, he says ‘there is a lot of dancing, music in our house’
Priyanka Chopra has already appeared in one Jonas Brothers music video, but could she collaborate with Nick Jonas on a single? Here’s what he has to say.
Actor-singer Nick Jonas has said that collaborating with wife Priyanka Chopra on a musical duet isn’t out of the question. He told People.com that Priyanka has ‘an incredible voice’ and that he’d ‘be open to’ a collaboration.
He said, “I mean, she’s got an incredible voice and there’s a lot of music in our house and a lot of dancing. So, I don’t know. Right now we’re just enjoying the first couple months of married life, and we’ll see where it takes us.”
Nick and his brothers recently reunited for the Jonas Brothers’ first single since 2013, Sucker. The music video featured Priyanka and Joe Jonas’ fiance, actor Sophie Turner.
Priyanka had embarked on a music career years before making the move to Hollywood as an actor. She released singles such as In My City, featuring will.i.am. and Exotic, featuring Pitbull. She also performed a track for her 2014 Bollywood film, Mary Kom, and for her 2015 ensemble drama, Dil Dhadakne Do.
The Jonas Brothers will continue the reunion with a tour and a documentary series, produced by Amazon Prime Video. Nick said, “We made a lot of music that we’re really proud of and that we can’t wait to play for them. So hopefully later on this year there’s a tour.”
Priyanka and Nick tied the knot in a lavish ceremony at Jodhpur’s Umaid Bhawan Palace in December, 2018. The wedding was preceded by traditional celebrations that included a sangeet ceremony, which showcased both the Chopras’ and the Jonas’ musical talents.
