Abhay Deol remembers college days

Actor Abhay Deol says that he always wanted to participate in campaigns and rallies that addressed social issues affecting the society. And, that’s why he signed up for Prakash Jha’s Chakravyuh.

“Chakravyuh took me back to my college days. It reminded me of those days when I was 19-20. That time, I used to participate in rallies and campaigns because I always wanted to be a part of such social activities... I chose films as a career so that through films I can impact the society by portraying such issues through my films. That’s why I did this film particularly,” says Deol.

Chakravyuh is a political thriller, also starring Arjun Rampal, Esha Gupta and Manoj Bajpai. The film is scheduled to release in October this year.
