Adnan Sami celebrated his daughter Medina’s first birthday with his wife Roya in Munich, Germany.

Singer Adnan Sami celebrated the first birthday of his daughter, Medina, in Germany on Wednesday and pictures from the celebrations are . Medina was born last year to Adnan and Roya, who got married on January 29, 2010.

An Afghan-origin German girl, Roya became Adnan’s third wife after he got separated from actor Zeba Bakhtiar and Dubai-based Arab Sabah Galadari. Checkout pictures from the birthday celebrations:

On the occasion, Adnan told IANS, “I know that God truly loves me...By blessing me with an angelic daughter. He has given me the greatest reason to rejoice and find new meaning to life and the magnificence of his generosity and creation. My Medina is too little to read this but one day when she can InshAllah, she will know that today I was reliving every moment by the clock as to what we were doing at every minute till she entered this world one year ago. She will also realise that a smile on her face means the universe to me. I belong to the world but she is my world.”

He also thanked Roya and said, “I can never thank you for the joy you have brought me by giving birth to Medina.”

Adnan, who has hit songs as Bhar Do Jholi and Lift kara de to his credit, was honoured with the Asian Award from the British Parliament’s House of Lords for Outstanding Achievement in Music in 2017.

In December 2015, the Indian Home Ministry had also approved Adnan’s request for legal status as a citizen of India. Born in London, the singer has Pakistani and Afghan roots.
