Hours before the release of Achche Din, the new song from Fanney Khan, a fresh look at Aishwarya Rai’s pop star character from the film has been shared online.

Ahead of the release of the new song from Fanney Khan, a fresh look at Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s character from the film, Baby Singh, has been shared online by multiple fan accounts. The new song, Achche Din, will be released online on Thursday.

Aishwarya looks fiery in the new picture, with the red background accentuating the red streaks in her hair. Two songs from the film - Halka Halka and Mohabbat - have already been released.

Aishwarya plays a pop star in the film, who is described as a ‘desi’ Madonna. Much has been written about her dance moves in the film being choreographed by Frank Gatson Jr, who has worked with pop stars Beyoncé, Rihanna and Jennifer Lopez, among others, in the past.

Speaking to Vogue India, designer Manish Malhotra talked about creating Baby’s look for the film. “My mood board had everyone from Beyoncé to Ariana Grande and Selena Gomez. What we took from them was the glitz and glamour but added a touch of reality to it. And if you notice, Aishwarya’s costumes have brought that in,” he said.

The film, also starring Anil Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao, is a remake of Everybody’s Famous. The Dutch movie starred Josse De Pauw, Eva Van Der Gucht and Thekla Reuten and was nominated for the Best Foreign Language Film Oscar in 2001.

Co-produced by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra Pictures Productions and T-Series in association with Anil Kapoor Films Company Network, Fanney Khan is slated to hit theatres on August 3.
