Akshay Kumar inspires me: Kajal Aggarwal

Actor Kajal Aggarwal only has good things to say about her Special 26 co-star Akshay Kumar. And, though he pulled her leg every now and then on the sets, Kajal says Akshay inspired her in many ways.

“I couldn’t have asked for more. Not only is Akshay charming, he also taught me a lot. I’m inspired by his dedication, hard work and passion for filmmaking. On the sets, he cracks jokes and makes everybody laugh,” she says.

Akshay’s films such as Rowdy Rathore and Housefull 2 made it to the coveted R100 crore club last year. Does Kajal expect Special 26 — which hits screens today — to achieve similar success? “This is a very important film in terms of its script. Of course, everyone is very wishful that their film crosses the R100cr mark, so are we, but our focus was the film’s story all throughout,” says the actor, who is hoping for a promising year ahead.

“Apart from this film, there are two films in the South that I’m doing. They’re almost complete and will release in the next few months,” she concludes.
