The information and photo of the meeting with the two leading personalities was shared on the CM’s official Twitter handle. “Renowned film actor Mr @akshaykumar & film director Mr R. Balki called on Chief Minister @ChouhanShivraj today at his official residence,” it read.

What transpired in the meeting or its purpose was not yet officially known.

However, some media reports said that the “Cheeni Kum” helmer, for his next slice-of-life film, has roped in Akshay Kumar and Amitabh Bachchan, who has been a regular in his projects.

The filmmaker will begin shooting sometime next year.
