Akshay Kumar’s Housefull 4 does its own take on Game of Thrones with a set pic

Akshay Kumar and the Housefull 4 team has shared a photo where they can be seen sitting on a ‘throne of skulls’.

On the day that Game of Thrones’ season finale landed, Akshay Kumar shared a set photo from his upcoming film Housefull 4 where he is seen sitting on a ‘throne of skulls’, surrounded by other cast members Kriti Sanon, Riteish Deshmukh, Bobby Deol, Kriti Kharbanda and Pooja Hegde.

Akshay captioned the photo, “‪HouseFull of Thrones. Who Lives, Who Dies...Only the Script Decides ‬ ‪#Housefull4 @riteishd @kritisanon @hegdepooja @iambobbydeol @kriti.kharbanda @nadiadwalagrandson @foxstarhindi (sic).”

 

The Game of Thrones Season 8 has come under a lot of fire for rushing the plot and deviating from original author George RR Martin’s intended story.

Housefull 4 is the fourth film in the hit Housefull franchise. While Akshay, Boman Irani,Chunky and Riteish have featured in all films, Lara Dutta and Deepika Padukone were seen in the first film. Jacqueline Fernandez, John Abraham and Zarine Khan joined the team for the second film while the third one featured Lisa Hayden, Nargis Fakhri and Abhishek Bachchan.

The film has had its share of ups and downs. Rana Daggubatti earlier replaced veteran actor Nana Patekar after the latter was accused of sexual misconduct by actress and former beauty queen Tanushree Dutta on the sets of 2008 film Horn OK Pleassss.

In October, filmmaker Sajid Khan stepped down as its director after he was accused of several sexual harassment incidents. He was replaced by Farhad Samji. Housefull 4 will release in October this year.
