"Censor board asks makers of my film Mr.Bhatti On Chutti o mute the names of George Bush and Manmohan Singh. Shocking," tweeted the 57-year-old.

Directed by Karan Razdan, the movie narrates the story of a group of Indian tourists visiting the Lake District in Cumbria, Britain. But they get mixed up in the saga of a missing British woman.

With Anupam in the lead role, the film is slated for release June 21.

"Mr.Bhatti On Chutt is a spoof. I play over the top detective who has a peace plan for President Bush. Muting his name will mutilate the film," Kher posted.
