“I never read his writing. I hate reading his scripts. I find it really boring to read them,” said the actor during a recent visit to the Capital. “I like to see the final product. I know how he works. He never sticks to his script anyway. So I never judge his scripts. Once I see his films, I tell him what I like and what I don’t,” she added. Kashyap, on the other hand, is an admirer of her poetry.

“Yes, he keeps telling me I should write more. But I’m a lazy writer.” Does she advise him on his work? “Not at all. I like to tell him what I think about it but I’m not going to tell him to make it like this or like that,” she said. However, she has a say in what he wears. “Anurag doesn’t have style. He just picks up the top thing in his drawer. So I keep putting what I want on the top, knowing that he will wear it. He never notices, never questions.”
