Actor Arjun Rampal tags wrong Preity on Instagram; Preity Zinta fans object
Actor Arjun Rampal recently met old friend and colleague actor Preity Zinta in Los Angeles. He posted a picture with her on Instagram but ended up tagging some other Preity. Zinta’s fans were quick to point out the error.
Actor Arjun Rampal met his friend and actor Preity Zinta in LA, recently. Arjun posted a picture with Preity and her husband Gene Goodenough on Instagram captioning it: “Great catching up with my darling @realprietyzinta and Gene in LA #losangeles #beverlyhills #lalaland”. However, Rampal didn’t realise that instead of tagging the actor, he had tagged some other account.”
What followed on Instagram was a bevy of comments from fans who pointed out the error. Some fans even urged him to update the post and tag Preity’s official account, but by till the time this article was updated, Rampal hadn’t edited his post.
One Instagrammer commented: It isnt preity zinta account. Her account is @realpz. Another social media user wrote: Bhai aapne kisi Galat priety ko tag kr diya hai. A lesson for future indeed, to always watch out for the verification tick in blue!

The two actors have worked together in film such as Dil Hai Tumhaara (2002) and Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna (2006). Presently, Arjun is in Los Angeles as he has joined the NGO CRY America, to support the underprivileged children.
