The film is a biopic on lesser-known Indian scientist Shivkar Bapuji Talpade. Talpade is said to have constructed and flown India's first unmanned airplane in 1895. The film is being directed by

Vibhu Puri

, who has assisted Sanjay Leela Bhansali in the past.

Vibhu makes his debut with

Bambai Fairytale

. The film stars Ayushmann Khurrana in the lead role. Apart from Ayushmann, it also stars Mithun and Pallavi Sharda.

Following his Bollywood debut two years back with the hugely successful and National Award-winning Vicky Donor, a film on sperm donation, Ayushmann featured in films like Nautanki Saala and Bewakoofiyaan.
