When Karan Johar visited the sets of aditya Chopra’s next in Paris, France, the latter made the film-maker sit far away from the main shooting area.

Karan Johar, who started off as an assistant director to Aditya Chopra on Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge (1995), has often said that he considers the film-maker his mentor. In fact, their relationship goes far beyond work. They have been friends for almost 20 years. But when it comes to his films, Aditya surely knows how to keep secrets even from those who are close to him.

Aditya was recently shooting for his new film with Ranveer Singh in Paris, France. Karan visited him on the sets. But, apparently, Aditya didn’t tell him much about his movie.

Aditya Chopra’s next is a love story, starring Ranveer Singh and Vani Kapoor.

A source says, “It was an emotional moment for Karan to see Aditya direct after a gap of seven years. But he couldn’t properly see what Aditya was shooting. He didn’t allow anyone, except his team, near the monitors. Karan was seated away from the main shooting area. Aditya would meet him in the breaks.”
