Actor Amitabh Bachchan will be awarded by the President of India Pranab Mukherjee, at the Rashtrapati Bhavan in New Delhi today (December 14).

The senior actor has been listed among the 25 Greatest Global Living Indians, chosen by a leading news channel.

The veteran actor even took to micro-blogging website Twitter to express his pleasure at being selected for the honour.

He posted, “… honours 25 Global Indians on its 25th anniversary..honours to be done by the President of India ! Yours truly is one of them!”
