The actor has been replaced by Kareena Kapoor who has confirmed the news to media.

Ash had already shot for some portion of the movie when she announced her pregnancy. Following the announcement, she was dropped from the film, as it was difficult to fit in the pregnant Ash in some sequences.

Aishwarya Rai had also announced Heroine at Cannes film festival this year.
