First week Box Office earnings for Karan Johar's Gippi and Saif Ali Khan starrer Go Goa Gone haven't been great. Expected to slash previous week's release Shootout at Wadala, the films did not as much as tug at its purse strings.

While Gippi has collected a menial Rs. 4.30 crores at the domestic BO this week, Go Goa Gone does marginally better. Gippi collected Rs 75 lakh on the day of release and being a movie that attracts a school-going audience its business dropped by a good 60 percent on weekdays.

Go Goa Gone started slow but has managed to collect a sum of Rs 19.87 crores at the Box Office. It managed to gain the first position this week despite failing to cross the Rs 20 crore mark. Earning Rs. 3.75 crore on Friday, the movie did substantially better on Sunday with a Rs. 4.90 earning.

However, in comparison with Box Office super-hit Aashiqui 2 and hit Shootout at Wadala that made a whooping Rs. 63 crore and Rs 56 crore respectively, the two films bombed at the big BO.
