After Bollywood actors Kangana Ranaut, Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone impressed fans at the Cannes red carpet, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan made her first appearance at 72nd edition of Cannes Film Festival late Sunday.
Dressed up in metallic gold gown with a long trail, Aishwarya looked no less than a mermaid at the gala. She was accompanied by her daughter Aaradhya, who wore a yellow asymmetrical dress. With nude lip shade, bold mascara, contoured cheeks and sleek straight hair, Aishwarya was shining all the way in Jean-Louis Sabaji ensemble.
The Jazbaa actress also shared a few photographs of her look on Instagram. “My sunshine forever. Love you,” Aishwarya captioned one of the images in which she is seen posing with Aaradhya.
Aishwarya left for France with daughter Aaradhya on Sunday and her husband Abhishek Bachchan was seen accompanying the mother-daughter duo to the airport.
A regular at the Cannes Film Festival, Aishwarya is representing makeup brand Loreal Paris at the 72nd Cannes Film Festival.
On the work front, Aishwarya is said to have signed Mani Ratnam’s period drama based on the historical Tamil novel by Kalki, Ponniyin Selvan where she plays a negative role.
Deepika Padukone, Priyanka Chopra and Kangana Ranaut have already made their red carpet appearances.
