Chitrangada Singh is all set to become tinsel town’s next hottie. Her look in Shristi Behl’s Ishaan is inspired by Jessica Alba’s character Nancy in Sin City.

If recent developments are any indication, Chitrangada Singh is all set to become tinsel town’s next hottie. The actor, acclaimed for her performances in offbeat films, from her debut Hazaaron Khwaishen Aisi to the recently released Yeh Saali Zindagi, is shedding the serious image associated with her. The latest news is that her look in Shristi Behl’s Ishaan is inspired by Jessica Alba’s character Nancy in Sin City (2005).



Chitrangada is essaying a stylish, independent and sexy woman in the film, which her co-star John Abraham is co-producing with Rose Movies and Reliance Entertainment. And to dress up her sexy character, the film’s makers decided to borrow Jessica Alba’s look from Sin City.

However, the dressing will differ. An insider associated with the film explains, "Chitrangada plays a high-profile advertising professional, while Jessica played an erotic dancer in Sin City. But the kind of make-up and hair-style Chitrangada has in Ishaan is inspired from Jessica’s styling in Sin City."



Chitrangada too concedes the same. "I believe the film’s makers are taking Jessica’s styling as the reference point for my look. Jessica is a very hot actor who makes sure she has a unique look for her movies," enthuses the actor, whose mutant character in Hrithik Roshan’s Krissh sequel is based on Mystique from Hollywood’s X-Men series.



The actor is not perturbed about questions of her on-screen chemistry with John in Ishaan. Having recently wrapped up a schedule of Desi Boyz with him in London, Chitrangada says, "Although John and I never met before we started shooting for Desi Boyz, we got along really well. I’m looking forward to working with him again and am sure we will really compliment each other in Ishaan too."
