Deepika Padukone’s popular commercial campaign ad is a rip off. Here’s a comparison

Diet Sabya, the popular Instagram page known for calling out rip offs in the fashion industry is at it again. This time, the page has shared a picture from Deepika Padukone’s photoshoot for a popular cosmetics brand, side by side with the cover of Allure Russia magazine from 2013. The original features supermodel Irina Shayk.

In the copy, Deepika looks at the camera with a cheeky smile, while Irina is focussed on the man in front of her.

From the colour of the leading ladies’s outfit to the men’s sharp suits and the pastel background, it all looks the same. We might not be able to play ‘spot six differences’ with these two images.

Deepika is the brand ambassador for a number of campaigns and the actor recently hit 25 million followers on Instagram. She shared a cute video to thank all her fans. Deepika and Priyanka Chopra are the only two people who have achieved this feat and are just ahead of Prime Minister Modi and Amitabh Bachchan.

On the work front, Deepika was last seen in Padmaavat which happened to be the first Bollywood hit of 2018 and worked wonders at the box office. Deepika will next be seen in Vishal Bharadwaj’s directorial inspired by don Sapna Bibi.
