Definition of freedom is to have choices: Madhuri Dixit

Change is very much needed, says Madhuri Dixit.

Bollywood diva Madhuri Dixit Nene thinks that the celebration of Women’s Day, which falls on Tuesday, becomes important only when a woman has the privilege to make choices of every aspect of her life. “To me, the definition of freedom is to have choices. A woman should have the right to choose every aspect in her life. She should not be discriminated being a woman and should get every opportunity to flourish as a human being. We can call ourselves ‘azaad’ only when women can pursue whatever they dream,” Madhuri said at a store launch in Mumbai.

Madhuri Dixit hasn’t aged even a bit over the years.

“Change is very much needed. I believe today awareness is there and everybody is trying to make an effort to change the views towards many things, and even about women. Education is also very important. When more people will become educated, things will turn out to be better automatically,” the Dedh Ishqiya actor added.
