Eid Mubarak: Arjun Rampal’s special gift for fans is a new qawali song from Daddy

Arjun Rampal has shared the first song of his upcoming film Daddy and it is perhaps the best Eid gift his fans could have asked for.

The makers of Arjun Rampal’s next, Daddy, have released the first song of the film and it proves to be a wonderful Eid gift for the actor’s fans. Daddy covers the life of Mumbai gangster Arun Gawli who later became an MLA from the Chinchpokli area in Mumbai.

Arjun Rampal shared the song on Twitter Monday afternoon.

Shabab Sabri and Tanvir Hussain have lent their voices for the song while Danish Sabri has penned it. The music for Eid Mubarak is composed by Sajid Wajid.

While Arjun Rampal plays the titular role in the film, Farhan Akhtar essays the role of Dawood Ibrahim in Daddy. Aishawarya Rajesh will also be seen in an important role.

Daddy follows the intertwined fates of gangster Gawli as he attempts to enter politics and a resentful, frustrated cop.

Daddy is produced by Eros International and is directed by Ashim Ahluwalia.

Arun Gawli was nicknamed ‘Daddy’ as he was considered the Robin Hood of his chawl in Mumbai. He was sentenced to life imprisonment in 2012 for the murder of a Shiv Sena leader.
