John Abraham and Nargis Fakhri starrer Madras Cafe's first look has been released. The poster features John in a rugged look, with a revolver in his hand. Nargis also sports an intense look.

John Abraham says Madras Cafe, which is also his next production, is truly the kind of cinema that defines the work he wants to do in the film industry.

Directed by Shoojit Sircar, who also helmed John's production debut Vicky Donor, the movie is said to be a gritty thriller.

"This would define what I stand for in terms of cinema. I want films that I produce to have credible content and Madras Cafe is that film," John tweeted on Thursday.
