From Akshay to Salman: Actor of original films making cameos in sequels
Actors such as Salman Khan, Karisma Kapoor and Akshay Kumar will make cameo appearances in the sequel of their films.
As Bollywood gears up to present a host of sequels, the lead actors of the original films add their Midas touch to these films by making guest appearances.
Karisma Kapoor
Actor Karisma Kapoor will make a cameo in the sequel to 1997 hit Judwaa. While in the original she played of Mala, this time she’ll make a special appearance. She says,“David Dhawan did mention it to me. So, let’s see. I’d love to do it.” In the sequel, actor Jaqueline Fernandez will be donning her role.

Salman Khan
Actor Varun Dhawan will take up the lead role in Judwaa 2 but actor Salman Khan, who entertained everyone with his double role in 1997 hit, will make a cameo in the film. Salman will reportedly play Varun’s godfather in the short on-screen appearance.

Ajay Devgn
Actor Ajay Devgn is said to be in talks to star in the sequel of Atithi Tum Kab Jaoge, in which he shared screen space with actor Konkona Sen Sharma. The actor starred in the lead role as Punit Bajpai in the 2010 film. The makers are said to be waiting for Ajay’s confirmation and his shooting schedule. The sequel will be directed by Abhishek Pathak.

Akshay Kumar
Actor Akshay Kumar’s performance in Neeraj Pandey’s directorial Baby (2015) got him laurels. The film also had a small role for actor Taapsee Pannu. However, in the film’s sequel the tables have turned. The actor will now do a cameo while Taapsee plays the lead in the movie.
