Fukrey earns meager Rs 5.7 cr in 2 days

Despite receiving decent reviews from critics, Fukrey has scored fairly low on the box office. The film opened with collection of around Rs 2.5 crore, and averaged Rs 3.10 crore on Saturday.

Despite receiving decent reviews from critics, Ritesh Sidhwani-Farhan Akhtar production Fukrey has scored pretty low on the box office, early reports suggest. It has only averaged Rs 5.72 crore over two days.



Fukrey, featuring Pulkit Samrat, Manjot Singh, Ali Fazal, Richa Chadda, Vishakha Singh and Priya Anand, released yesterday (June 14). The Mrighdeep Singh Lamba's directorial venture received decent reviews, especially for the actors and overall experience of the film.



Trade analyst Taran Adarsh wrote on Twitter, "##Fukrey Fri 2.62 cr, Sat 3.10 cr. Total: Rs 5.72 cr."

Saturday proved to be only a little better with collections averaging around Rs 3.10 crore.



Overseas, too, Fukrey has failed to impress at the ticket windows. USA, Canada collections for two days was over Rs 23 lakhs.
