The Catholic wedding took place in the morning, at around 11am. “It was held in a beautiful chapel set-up, and was followed by a special lunch,” reveals a source.

The evening saw them exchange jai malas in a Hindu ceremony, which was followed by dinner. “What was kept under wraps was that the couple also sponsored celebrations in orphanages in Delhi and Kochi (on their wedding day). It included celebratory meals, clothes, gifts, and decorations for the kids. This was Asin’s idea,” adds the source.

We’re told that the donations for the same were made to these charitable institutions in advance. The source adds, “Special cakes were cut at these orphanages in the afternoon to celebrate Rahul and Asin’s wedding.”
