Rajkummar Rao claims he can't ever say no to veteran director Mahesh Bhatt. Rao, who will be seen in a special appearance in Humari Adhuri Kahaani, says, "I am doing a special appearance in the film. Bhatt sir (Mahesh Bhatt) really wanted me to play this part and I love him too much, can't say 'no' to him."

Talking about his part in the movie directed by Mohit Suri, the actor says, "It's a really challenging part for me, so that's also the reason I thought I should do this special appearance because it's going to challenge me as an actor." Humari Adhuri Kahaani also stars Vidya Balan and Emraan Hashmi.
Vidya Balan had earlier said Hamari Adhuri Kahaani would be her second intense love story after her debut film Parineeta. The film's goes to floors in October. "I try and give every character I play a particular look. So this (Hamari...) is definitely towards that...we are preparing for it. Mohit Suri is a director whose work I have always enjoyed immensely. (Mahesh) Bhatt saab is writing the script, so it's all come together beautifully," she said.
