Himmatwala was no Mughal-e-Azam: Sridevi
Tusshar Kapoor takes on his dad’s Himmatwala heroine, Sridevi, as she commented about the yesteryear's superhit. Tusshar Kapoor is asking Sridevi one thing- that how can Sridevi run down a film that gave her identity in Bollywood?
Tusshar Kapoor is angry with Sridevi.

When Sridevi was asked about the remake of Himmatwala, she had dismissed the quesry saying that Himmatwala was no Mughal-e-Azam.
The yesteryear diva, who is making her much awaited comeback with Gauri Shinde's English Vinglish, made this statement when she was asked about her views on the fact that this 1983 film was currently being remade, according to Bombay Times.

Tusshar Kapoor, the son of Himmatwala's star Jeetendra, has taken offense to Sridevi's comment, and is voicing his discontent.
According to the Bombay Times, Tusshar Kapoor wants to know why someone as dignified as Sridevi would make a statement like that just for the sake of being in the news.
He also asks, “How can she run down a film that has given her identity in Bollywood and is one of the biggest hits of her career?”
According to Tusshar, one should ideally not run down any film. And of course it is unforgivable for an actor to run down a film that is responsible for giving them their basic standing in films."
Tusshar Kapoor is a huge Himmatwala fan and has seen the original many times.
He says, “My dad and Sridevi were terrific in that film and though the critics panned it because it was a potboiler; I defend it because it is one of the films that my father is most identified with,” as reported by the Bombay Times.
Let us see how Sridevi responds to that.
