With a box office run that very few enjoy, Emraan Hashmi has to deal with more work, in addition to the hectic promotions of his next, Raaz 3. Owing to his successful track record, the distributors of the film have demanded solo posters of the actor to attract the audience. They even released a special Urdu poster recently to reach out to his fans.

A source says, “Emraan is popular with single-screen viewers and is now appealing to a more serious section of the audience as well. In fact, after the Emraan-centric promo that released during Ek Tha Tiger, the makers have launched a special solo poster, thanks to repeated requests from the distributors.”

Confirms Vijay Singh, CEO, FOX Star Studios, “Emraan has a huge fan following. At a recent promotion of Raaz 3 in Delhi, over 10,000 people turned up at the mall to catch a glimpse of him. Emraan is a big draw at the box office, which has been proven by the openings his films garner. He is aptly called Hitman Hashmi. After the poster’s release, even the advance bookings for Raaz 3 have opened extremely well across the country.”

Ask Emraan about this and he says, “As an actor, it feels great knowing that both the industry and the fans are rooting for you. I am humbled by the fact that there is a demand for my solo posters despite the film having an ensemble star cast.”
