Hollywood VFX specialist for Ayan Mukerji’s next?

Director Ayan Mukerji has travelled to Los Angeles, USA, to finalise a VFX specialist for his next with Ranbir Kapoor.

After Wake Up Sid (2009) and Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani (2013), Ayan Mukerji (right) will collaborate with Ranbir Kapoor for the third time in his next, which is a superhero film. The director is leaving no stone unturned to make sure that the movie lives up to the audience’s expectations.

Ayan is currently in Los Angeles, USA, to meet executives from some of the biggest VFX studios in the world. “Ayan has been working on the film for a long time. He wants the VFX to look as real as possible. He wants to set a new benchmark in the industry,” says a source.

A few weeks ago, Ranbir and Ayan were spotted with Ido Portal, an acclaimed German fitness trainer, who trains Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) fighters. Apparently, Portal will train Ranbir for the film.
