Even though two biopics are currently being made on cricketers Mohammad Azharuddin and Mahendra Singh Dhoni, former Indian cricket captain Kapil Dev says that he doesn't want a film to be made on his life.

Kapil, who will be seen as a guest on an upcoming TV show, says that he has no plans of acting in films, but is open to taking up interesting projects on the small screen.

"Just because Azharuddin and Dhoni have biopics, doesn't mean that I will want one too. I just don't like the idea of a film [being made] on my life right now. I am not that old, and people have seen how my life has shaped up," says the 56-year-old, adding, "I liked the biopic on Milkha Singh's life, but I don't think I am comfortable with a film being made on my life at the moment. Maybe after 20-30 years, it might be okay, but not now."

On the other hand, Kapil, who will be seen as a guest on an upcoming TV show, also says that he has no plans of acting in films, but is open to taking up interesting projects on the small screen. "I don't think I am good enough to be in a movie. But you never know [in television]. If this [show] is successful, then why not," he says.

When asked about the kind of shows he likes watching, Kapil says, "I like to watch comedy shows... I enjoy those the most. I am working throughout the day, and I don't have too much time to follow anything else. Plus, these shows are fun and relaxing."
