The 32-year old, who made his Bollywood debut with the 2003 release Ishq Vishk and later gave hits like Vivah, Kaminey and Jab We Met, reveals, “I would wait for hours together for the payment of my first film. I was advised by people to look at opportunities and not at the money. I used to tell them that I need the money for my day-to-day living,” he says. “I was paid Rs1.5 lakhs for my first film. That’s hardly any money, but yes I could survive on it for a few days,” he adds.
