Jacqueline Fernandez to host the opening ceremony of MAMI despite illness

The actor will be hosting the opening ceremony of a film festival (MAMI). Also, the actor was apparently under the weather, but she decided to attend and host the event, in order to fulfil her professional commitment.

Jacqueline Fernandez is currently judging a reality TV show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 9 on television. And on Thursday, she will be seen hosting an opening ceremony of a film festival in Mumbai.

According to a source, however, Jacqueline was unwell, and she has still not fully recovered. The source says, “Being the thorough professional that she is, Jacqueline will host the opening ceremony despite her health issues. And knowing her energetic and positive nature, it will be a delight to watch her host the ceremony.”

When contacted, the actor confirmed the news, and said, “It’s exciting to be hosting the opening ceremony of a prestigious film festival. I’m glad to be associated with the platform. I’m looking forward to the ceremony and all the interesting films that will be showcased there.”

Jacqueline Fernandez will next be seen on the big screen in an action flick co-starring Sidharth Malhotra, and another untitled project co-starring Sushant Singh Rajput.
