Jacqueline Fernandez to shake a leg with Prabhudeva

Actor Jacqueline Fernandez who has earned rave reviews for her performance in the song Lat Lag Gayi in Race 2, will now be shaking a leg with ace choreographer Prabhu Deva for an item song in his next film as director.

Jacqueline joins a long list of Bollywood actors who have worked with the dancer before. Earlier, Sonakshi Sinha did an item number, Go Go Govinda, with Prabhu Deva in Oh My God, while Kareena Kapoor and Akshay Kumar did the Chinta Ta Chita Chita song in Rowdy Rathore, Salman Khan and Govinda danced with him in Jalwa from Wanted and even Madhuri Dixit shook a leg with him in Que Sera Sera song from Pukar. Now, for Prabhu Deva’s next directorial venture, Ramaiya Vasta Vaiya, Jacqueline will be doing a song titled Jaadu Ki Jhappi De De Tu Abhi.

“We have Prabhu Deva, Jacqueline and Girish (the lead actors of the film) dancing to this song, which has been shot in Punjab. It is a travel song but it is not like Chaiyyan Chaiyyan, it is very different,” says Kumar Taurani, the producer. He is launching his son Girish with this film. The film, also stars Shruti Haasan, and is likely to release on June 7 this year.
