Jolly LLB can open doors for good cinema: Arshad Warsi

“When people accept such films, it opens doors for good cinema. There are a lot of good filmmakers who cannot make their films because they are into this kind of cinema,” the 44-year-old said.

Actor Arshad Warsi says when films like Kai Po Che and his upcoming movie Jolly LLB work, they open doors for filmmakers who believe in intelligent cinema, but are reluctant.

“When people accept such films, it opens doors for good cinema. There are a lot of good filmmakers who cannot make their films because they are into this kind of cinema,” the 44-year-old said.

“When films like Kai Po Che, Barfi! work and if Jolly LLB also works, a lot of those writers, who write such movies will be encouraged to come forward. This is good cinema and it should be made,” he added.
