Kajol and Tanuja to play mother-daughter on screen

Toonpur Ka Superhero will see the husband-wife pair of Ajay Devgn and Kajol coming back together with Tanuja playing Kajol's reel mother.

The mother-daughter duo, veteran actress Tanuja and Bollywood’s longtime sweetheart Kajol will be seen together on-screen for the first time. They will feature in Toonpur Ka Superrhero, India’s first ‘live’ animation. Tanuja is playing Kajol's reel mother. It’s a significant cameo.

Toonpur Ka Superhero will also see the husband-wife pair of Ajay Devgn and Kajol coming back together. They have worked together in five films, including Hulchul, Gundaraj, Pyaar To Hona Hi Tha, Dil Kya Kare, Raju Chacha and Devgn’s debut directorial venture, U Me Aur Hum.

Earlier, after the success of Avatar, there were talks that the film would be converted into 3D and Kumar Mangat, who’s producing the film with Eros, had even intiated talks with Hollywood technicians. But now it will release in its original form on December 24, along with Farah Khan’s Tees Maar Khan.
