Kangana Ranaut, who is riding high on the success of her directorial debut Manikarnika The Queen of Jhansi, has decided to celebrate her birthday with 10 days of silence. Reports claim that she will head to Coimbatore for a 10-day wellness camp where she will meditate and perform yoga in complete silence, just ahead of her birthday on March 23.

After the camp, she will head to her home in Manali, where she will usher in her birthday with her family. Last year also, Kangana had celebrated the day at her home in the hills and had planted 31 trees.

A Mumbai Mirror report quoted Kangana as saying, “I have been practising yoga since I was around 16-17. The programme I am about to attend is an advanced one. I had been meaning to do this for a while now. This year, it happened to all close to my birthday. Ten days of silence is a big commitment, but I wanted it to be a birthday present for myself.”

She added that while staying away from the phone for 10 days and meditating for 10-15 hours a day is not going to be a cakewalk, the course requires six months of practice for the yoga postures and she is ready to take it up.

Kangana will soon start training in kabaddi for Ashwini Iyer Tiwari’s Panga. After the training, Kangana will begin shooting for the film that is likely to be wrapped up by May end.
