Kangana Ranaut, who is riding high on the success of her directorial debut Manikarnika The Queen of Jhansi, has decided to celebrate her birthday with 10 days of silence. After the camp, she will head to her home in Manali, where she will usher in her birthday with her family. Last year also, Kangana had celebrated the day at her home in the hills and had planted 31 trees.
A Mumbai Mirror report quoted Kangana as saying, “I have been practising yoga since I was around 16-17. The programme I am about to attend is an advanced one. I had been meaning to do this for a while now. This year, it happened to all close to my birthday. Ten days of silence is a big commitment, but I wanted it to be a birthday present for myself.”
She added that while staying away from the phone for 10 days and meditating for 10-15 hours a day is not going to be a cakewalk, the course requires six months of practice for the yoga postures and she is ready to take it up.
