Filmmaker Karan Johar is all set to make a biopic on legendary hockey player Dhyan Chand. Johar took to Twitter to announce that he has bought the rights to make a film on former India captain, who was also known as The Wizard for his extraordinary control over the ball.

Filmmaker Karan Johar is all set to make a biopic on legendary hockey player Dhyan Chand. Johar took to Twitter to announce that he has bought the rights to make a film on former India captain, who was also known as The Wizard for his extraordinary control over the ball.
The official Twitter handle of Dharma Productions also confirmed the news.
The starcast of the film hasn't been finalised yet, but there are rumours that Shah Rukh Khan has been considered for a pivotal role in the film.
Dhyan Chand was an important part of the Olympic Gold winning Indian hockey team of 1928, 1932 and 1936.
Biopic is the flavor of the season in Bollywood. After Mary Kom, another biopic on Indian cricket captain MS Dhoni is in the making.
