“I am glad the way Kareena has been making trends much like how my mother did years ago as she worked till the eighth month of her pregnancy. I think we aren’t used to see actors in present times working so late in their pregnancy. We are looking forward to the arrival of the baby. My brother (Saif) has experienced it before, so, I am more excited for Kareena” says Soha.

Is pregnancy on cards for her too? “Oh! Not yet. It’s been just a year and half of marriage, things are going pretty good. In terms of future plans, those are things which are a little bit personal, we will discuss with my family and when the time is right, we will let you know,” she exclaims. Interestingly, it’s not just women in her family that inspire Soha. Real life incidents too excite this actor, who is very inclined towards writing non-fiction. At the moment, she is busy with her upcoming film, 31st October.

She recently, attended a candle march in Capital, to appeal to people to stand against the injustice done towards the Sikh community. “Our intention is to educate the youth about what happened. After tackling various PILs and censor board, we have brought forth the story of a Sikh family and what they went through, while they were attacked post the assassination of late Ms. Indira Gandhi, then Prime Minister,” she says.
